It’s a benchmark for handling, and guess what country the two fastest production car lap times come from? America. The Dodge Viper ACR and Chevy Corvette ZR1 beat out the likes of Porsche, Nissan, Ferrari, and so on, so yes, American cars can handle just fine, and if you know how to drive, you can make a “muscle” car handle corners.
