Just bought myself 2 of these! Pretty decent deal, $500 for the pair. I sure hope they last 200k miles like yours. They are both under 100k now and running strong.
@ecoli2345 VW has been kinda sucking this decade. We get them in the shop all the time with problems usually seen in older cars. I used to have a pacer. I cracked the block and continued driving it for six months. Man they were great cars.
@tga2848 The AMC Eagle cars were NOT “Jeep CJ with a car body”. Eagle cars were 4WD versions of either AMC Concords or AMC Spirits. They DID share a lot of drivetrain components with Jeeps but overall they were very UNLIKE Jeep CJs (CJ is a body-on-frame truck design, Eagles were unibody cars). They WERE fantastic machines though and Eagles are the original “crossover” before marketers came up with the term.

Are those locked differentals? I have a jeep with front and rear lockers and a lift. It kinda reminds me of yours but yours is way cooler.

@MSHYYC Good response! Your right the Eagle has more in common with the 81-01Cherokee than a CJ for sure. Due to the unibody construction.
